Wired Ebikes stand behind the quality, reliability and workmanship of our products. If a problem arises, we are committed to resolving your issues and providing a wonderful customer service experience for you.

 

WARRANTY PERIOD

 

Wired Ebikes (“Wired Ebikes”) warrants all new Wired Ebikes electric bicycles and its Covered Components to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of delivery, subject to the terms and conditions specified herein. This limited warranty only applies to the original buyer who must be able to provide electronic proof of purchase by means of order number, email address and name used at the point of original purchase, and is not transferable to subsequent owners. During its warranty period, any defective parts will be repaired or replaced free of charge for the customers. However, please note that the warranty period for a repaired or replaced part remains unchanged based on the original delivery date of the ebike. Our act of repairing or replacing a part does not extend, add or modify the time under the original one (1) year warranty.

From time to time, Wired Ebikes may extend a warranty for different specified reasons. If Wired Ebikes, for whatever reason, extends a warranty beyond the original one (1) year period, THE BATTERY (BATTERIES) ARE NOT INCLUDED. Under no circumstance will Wired Ebikes warranty any of their batteries beyond the original one (1) year warranty. 

 

COVERED COMPONENTS

 

The components covered under this limited warranty includes motor, controller, LCD display, battery, and electrical sensors, frame (the seat tube is excluded from warranty if Wired Ebikes determines that your seat post was raised too high or above the safety lines), forks, stem, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur and shifter. Stripped threads due to operator error during assembly are not covered by this warranty.

 

BATTERY WARRANTY

 

Wired Ebikes batteries are covered by one (1) year pro-rated warranty. If a battery is found defective or its capacity falls below 50% of its rated value within the warranty period, it will be repaired free of charge for the customers. However, the shipping cost for return is the responsibility of the customer. Wired Ebikes will not cover the shipping cost of a battery returned for warranty work.

 The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery remains unchanged based on the original delivery date of the ebike. Under no circumstances will Wired Ebikes warranty a battery beyond one (1) year from the date the customer received their bike. However, please take note to follow the instructions listed below to prevent your battery warranty from being void.

-Do not charge it below 32 Fahrenheit, or above 105 Fahrenheit

-Do not charge it immediately after riding your ebike. Let it cool down to ambient temperature before charging it

-Protect your battery from water ingression

-Charge it at least once a month

 

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

 

All items not specifically listed in "Covered Components" above are excluded from warranty. Rear racks are excluded from the warranty. In addition, consumables or normal wear and tear parts (including but not limited to tires, tread, tubes, brake pads, cables and housing, grips, chain and spokes) are not covered under warranty as well. Again, any component not specifically listed in "COVERED COMPONENTS" are specifically NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
 

Any damage or defects to Covered Components resulting from the following causes are not covered by warranty: failure to follow instructions in the user's manual, force majeure, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, alterations and modification without written consent from Wired Ebikes, assembly and repair works by any unauthorized third party, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the ebike as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, or improper follow-up maintenance.

 

Any damages resulting from improper use, such as by overloading the ebike above its rated load capacity, or by raising the seat post above its minimum insertion mark.
 

Products that are used for competition or commercial activities, including without limitation rental / lease, are not covered by this limited warranty, unless otherwise agreed by Wired Ebikes.

 

Any gifts or accessories that come along with the ebike free of charge are not covered by this limited warranty.

 

This limited warranty is not applicable to the sale of spare parts and accessories.

Any damage resulting from the use of a third-party battery charger not originally supplied by Wired Ebikes is not covered by warranty. Using an aftermarket battery not purchased through Wired Ebikes will void all warranties for any electronic components. Using aftermarket batteries are dangerous and may cause fires, smoking, sparking and other damage to the battery and/or the ebike components.

Wired Ebikes prides itself with top-notch warranty service through our customer support team. We will try and do anything and everything to make things right with any issues you may experience. However...respect from our customers is not requested; it is mandatory. We understand frustration. We accept that. We do not tolerate disrespectful behavior. Swearing, yelling, name calling, hurling insults, actual/implied threats of any sort (including legal action, disparaging social media posts, and reviews) are all considered bad behavior that is not tolerated! 

THIS SORT OF BEHAVIOR WILL ABSOLUTELY TERMINATE YOUR WARRANTY AND PREVENT ANY FURTHER CUSTOMER SUPPORT. In summary, just don't act like a "jackass" when seeking help from us and we will try and do anything possible for you!

 

 

CLAIM PROCESS

 

1. Warranty Claims

 

If you suspect any component of your ebike is defective, you should contact Wired Ebikes immediately. All warranty claims must be submitted via email to Support@WiredEbikes.com.

 

Please do not attempt to repair or replace it yourself before contacting Wired Ebikes, as doing so may void your warranty and cause consequential damages to your ebike, undermining its safety and reliability. Contact us and we can help you with any repairs or adjustments that your bike needs!

 

If our customer service team determines that a replacement part is needed, they will provide you with clear instructions for returning the defective parts, and receiving the replacement. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customers. It is at the full discretion of Wired Ebikes to determine if a defective component is covered by this limited warranty. Unless prior approval is provided, Wired Ebikes will not cover the labor cost or expense for the removal, replacement or installation of said part or component provided under the terms of this warranty. Wired Ebikes is always happy to provide guidance on how to replace any warranty part or component. If it is determined that local professional assistance is required to remove, replace or install said part under warranty, it will be the sole discretion of Wired Ebikes of where the customer shall have the service work done at.  

 

2. Shipping Damage Claims

Damage to a Product during shipping is not covered by this Limited Warranty. Notwithstanding such limitation, Wired Ebikes agrees to replace such damaged parts if they make the bike unusable and reasonable and/or common adjustments CANNOT be made by the customer to make said bike usable. 

- Damage to your ebike during shipping that would cause the bike to be inoperable without the ability for the customer to make reasonable adjustments to the damaged part or parts (it is solely the discretion of Wired Ebikes to determine what is reasonable and not reasonable).

- Adjustments to the following components ARE CONSIDERED reasonable and would NOT BE covered by Wired Ebikes:

     - bent derailleur hanger
     - bent or damaged derailleur guard
     - bent brake rotor(s)

- Minor scratches on the paint or other surface of the frame, handlebars, battery case/cover, pedals, grips, rack, rims, spokes that do not affect the performance, safety or ability to ride the bike DO NOT QUALIFY for replacement.

In order to qualify for a replacement part due to shipping damage, you MUST:
 

- Notify Wired Ebikes of damage to a Product in the shipping process within seven (7) days of the date of your receipt of the Product;

- Promptly provide Wired Ebikes with dated pictures and/or a video of the damaged Product.

 

If you choose to set up your own independent shipping method, such as use of freight forwarder or similar service, Wired Ebikes will not be responsible for the replacement of any Products damaged during such shipping method.
