Wired Ebikes was born from a simple yet bold vision: to create an exceptional product at an incredible price. The market was flooded with overpriced and underpowered e-bikes. The few powerful e-bikes on the market were outrageously priced...until now.

Hello. I am Steven Goldman. Founder and CEO of Wired Ebikes. My goal was to build a high quality e-bike with unmatched performance at an affordable price.

The Beginning

When my kids were little, I always "needed" to make their electric toy vehicles faster and much more powerful than how they came. I could not help myself! Power Wheels conversion from a 12v, single motor system to a 52v, dual motor system with rubber tires for traction and tricked out with blue interior LED lights and an off road light bar! My 10 year old son's electric Razor motorcycle somehow magically got converted to a 60v system with a 1200w brushless motor while he was sleeping one night! No matter how it came from the store, I was "required" to push it to its power limits. Everything out of the box needed to have more power. It needed to be faster. It needed to be better.

When my kids grew older, I discovered the wonderful world of electric bicycles. It was then that I became obsessed with creating an e-bike that was different than any other one on the market. One that had more power and comfort without compromising quality. Above all, an e-bike with all of those qualities at a price that people would be able to afford.

Our goal was to make a fantastic product for an incredible price. If you look at the specs of our e-bikes, there is NOTHING that comes even close for the price. Our dual battery system includes a 60v 20Ah battery in the front and a 60v 15Ah battery in the rear. That is a total of 2100Wh's of distance dominance! We use Samsung cells for all of our batteries. So, not only are they the biggest around, they are also the best quality. We use a rear geared hub motor manufactured by Hengtai. These monster motors output 3200w of peak power! This is one of the highest quality motors available on the market. Our motors use a hybrid of steel re-enforced internal gears. Bafang, the most popular motor for e-bikes uses nylon gears! Why? Because nylon is cheaper than steel. We use a color display when most other companies use a black and white display. Our controllers are 45 amps. No other e-bike company currently uses more than a 40 amp controller. Most use 22 amp controllers. Why? Because they are cheaper. There is no other company that produces an e-bike with as much power, speed and affordability as Wired Ebikes. Other companies try and imitate us. However, nobody rivals us! Wired Ebikes is the true innovator in the ebike market.

Our Bikes

When our company started out a few years back, we were the only 60v e-bike on the market. Sure, they did have electric motorcycles and cafe racers with 20" wheels and cushion seats for two that called themselves "e-bikes." In reality, they were not (and still are not) made to pedal. We were the only e-bikes with upright, BMX handlebars. The only one with a 1500w motor. The only one with a 45a controller. We disrupted the market.

Then came the copycats. The little guys who tried to replicate greatness. The ones who were just so happy to scavenge the leftover crumbs. I guess, its true: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! However, these little copycats were never able to actually replicate us. Yes, their bikes look like ours. That's where the similarity ends! No one else offers a motor that pushes 3200w of pure power. No one else offers a controller that peaks at over 45a. No one else offers live U.S. based customer support 7 days a week. Most importantly, no one else offer a bike with the same powerful specs at a price we offer it at. NOBODY. These copycats offer "free shipping." They want you to believe that they really aren't charging for shipping! Funny, because their price for the bike is still more than our price PLUS our shipping charge! How does that make sense? We also allow for local pickup to avoid the shipping costs all together! Does any other company allow that? No. I guess calling them copycats is giving them too much credit! I guess we can just call them a Wired Wannabe.
